Road Closure - B5066 - 10th Nov - 22nd December 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and maintenance of B5066 Sandon Road, Hopton and B5066 Sandon Bank, Sandon are satisfied that it is necessary to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of B5066 Sandon Road, Hopton in an eastbound direction only from its junction with A513 Beaconside to its junction with Hopton Lane for a further period of 21 days.

IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN 07:30HOURS ON 10th November 2025 AND 17:00HOURS ON 22nd December 2025.

Notice because of the likelihood of danger to the public during the temporary access and site compound
construction works being undertaken by Staffordshire County Council.

Throughout the duration of this emergency Order a temporary 40 MPH Speed Restriction Order will be in place on B5066 Sandon Bank, Sandon and B5066 Sandon Road, Hopton

Access will be available for vehicles being used in connection with the works and for emergency services vehicles.

An alternative route for traffic is available via A513 Beaconside, A518 Weston Road, A519 Weston Bank, A518
Stafford Road, A51 London Road, A51 Lichfield Road, B5066 Sandon Bank and B5066 Sandon Road.
